YOHJI YAMAMOTO

Yohji Yamamoto launched into his creative adventures, founding Y’sCompany Ltd. in 1972. Designing under his own name, expressing his vision through the garments, and modeling the fabrics to the rhythm of his creative freedom.

 

The designer has cultivated a very precise aesthetic, characterised by the deconstruction of traditional silhouettes, an exploration of dark matrix themes with veins of irony and the predominance of one colour: black.
